The program runs from 9:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. which allows children to participate in all areas of enrichment. The curriculum uses a phonics approach to learning with a Whole Child Philosophy approach. We incorporate the five major areas of discipline, math, language arts, Science, reading, and social arts development, which include, music, dance, and movement into or daily lesson plans. Rather than dividing the disciplines into math time, reading time, we introduce children to a topic which will incorporate all 5 disciplines allowing the child to develop an overall understanding without feeling that they did poorly in a specific area of study. The KG Enrichment program follows Montgomery County Public School Closings. For example, if there is no public school on Martin Luther King Day then there will be no KG Enrichment Program that day. For the KG Enrichment program we offer it at a very affordable price to allow as many families as possible to be able to participate.
